Rumpf Computer Solutions (RCS) has announced today that The Toledo Rowing Club has retained Rumpf Computer Solutions as its official 2011 Timing Partner.
TOLEDO, OH, September 23, 2011 /HiTech PR News/ -- RCS will provide the Toledo Rowing Club with race results and times this coming Saturday (September 24th, 2011) at the 2011 Frogtown Races Regatta in downtown Toledo, Ohio. RCS will use mobile communication platforms, including mobile wireless hotspots and laptops to provide real time start and finish times for over 300 crews and 1500 participants. The times will be synchronized using a customized software solution built specifically for the sport of rowing.
The Toledo Rowing Club (TRC) is both a recreational and competitive rowing club serving Toledo and the surrounding areas for more than 25 years. With over 300 members, experience ranges from beginner to advanced. TRC offers programs for both novice and experienced oarsmen. TRC is a non-profit, community-based membership organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the sport of rowing by providing the widest possible range of opportunities for training and participation.
The 26th Annual Frogtown Races Regatta is one of the largest and most prestigious fall regattas in the mid-west. High School, College, adaptive rowers, and masters rowers (adults) from the USA and Canada will travel to International Park in Downtown Toledo to race and compete in a 3 mile course along the Maumee river, finishing in front of the Docks Restaurants and Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship.
