Dolores Carr Brings Businesses Back from the Brink of Disaster
BEAR CREEK TOWNSHIP, PA, December 27, 2011 /HiTech PR News/ -- Dolores "Dee" Carr, Senior High Availability Implementation Project Manager for SunGard Availability Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in project management.
Dee Carr has 22 years of experience in her profession working for Sungard one of the world's leading software and technology services company. She is a Senior Advance Recovery Implementation Project Manager who works directly with her customers, Sungard teams, external vendors to insure a smooth transition to High Availability using the recovery solutions designed for her customers. She is adept in managing large complex hybrid solutions that include integration into the recovery shared environment, using both dedicated and shared infrastructure, equipment and network. Dolores previously developed application recovery when she was in the consulting team, implemented continuity planning software and provided coordination is all aspects of the testings solutions to minimize her clients' downtime to allow them to achieve RTO/RPO objectives.
In her successful tenure with Sungard, Ms Carr is responsible to work with senior management and executives to provide them status on her projects deliverables. Her responsibilities include Design Review process & enhancements, ordering of equipment, circuits, allocation of floor space, power, hot site connectivity, circuit delivery and testing and installation of all project components ending in a Proof of Concept test to insure the solution meets the customer objectives and they can recover from any outage or disaster. Attributing to her success is her flexibility to take on new responsibility, determination to resolve issues, a great work ethic and willingness to assist others. Ms Carr became involved in her current profession due to her previous experience in systems programming, application development and as a DBA. Ms Carr holds an associate degree in business and continues to take courses related to computer technology enhancing her knowledge. She currently is working with development to test out Cloud functionality for Storage and is enthusitc regarding her career future with Sungard.
