Cambridge Who's Who Names Robert F. Parham Jr., CISSP, Professional of the Year in Information Security
Mr. Parham has dedicated three decades to his profession
PISCATAWAY, NJ, January 10, 2012 /HiTech PR News/ -- Robert Parham Jr., Director of Information Security Practice for Marlabs Inc., has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Information Security. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
Mr. Parham heads the information security department of Marlabs Inc., a global provider of IT services to clients in a variety of industries, including health care, banking, financial services, and state and local government. As the director of information security practice, Mr. Parham implements solutions and strategies to mitigate risk and data breaches that undercut organizational integrity.
Mr. Parham spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, where he learned about information technology and information security, and retired as a master sergeant. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional, he has accrued 30 years of industry experience. He earned an MBA from Webster University as well as a bachelor's degree in information security management from Bellevue University. He holds memberships to the National Black MBA Association, Inc., (ISC)2, and ISACA. In the future, Mr. Parham would like to either own his own business or become a chief information security officer for another company.
